As Jerry says, “You can always trust your top dog, Mona.” Please see their ad for the ridiculously priced drinks that day! Congratulations to all!

We have messaged on Facebook, which they have been responsive with stating guest services will be responding, however it has been 2 weeks and still no response.“His mother should have thrown him away and kept the stork.” – Mae West We have emailed Guest Services 3 times, no response. We loved the Brightline but between the terrible service and the new cheap non-luxury wine options, we probably will not be taking this train again. This honestly was such an awful experience and the customer service we received on the train was horrific that I needed to let you all know. We got on a train an hour after we arrived in Miami. A typical, not anything else I can do response. Luis took care of us and got us tickets on the next train, but nothing else. Upon our arrival in Miami, we met with a supervisor and the manager Luis. We were off to Miami with a 7 month old, which is pretty scary to wonder what time you will be returning. The attendant on the train stated she was very understaffed and there was nothing she could do about it. My husband was trying to get our 7 month old’s stroller together when the train started up again and we were off to Miami. Maybe a minute or two later, the train stopped in Fort Lauderdale for literally 1 minute, no announcements made that we are coming to a stop or that the train is departing again. We stated we do not need drinks as we were arriving at the station soon. On our trip back, the beverage service did not make it to us until the train was slowing down. If I knew the complimentary “champagne” would have been the disgusting and cheap Cupcake brand, which by the way, is a sparkling wine and not champagne, I would have chosen coach and paid for a bottle at the station. First, the menu that is on the confirmation emails is not the menu on the train. We scheduled a round trip to West Palm Beach and back. I do want to start with saying that my previous experience in select on Brightline a year ago was amazing and high end with the champagne cart while waiting for the train and the on train food and beverage service.
Maybe in 5-10 years these trains and stations will be as crappy as those, but in the meantime, get it while the gettins good!!!!Īwesome, easy trip down to Miami plus free admission to a killer art museum on the train tickets and a $5 Lyft code to get there AND a two-fer deal on the tickets! Jealous I can't take this every weekend! I could go on and on, but if you have ever taken a train anywhere in the northeast, Amtrak or otherwise, and have seen the gross stations, the rundown trains, and the grumpy attendants, this is like a whole other heavenly world.
The person we talked to was really helpful, the service was easy to understand, nice legroom, even signs above to tell you if you're going the right direction novel idea! Many Amtrak trains are still using paper tickets that a conductor has to come collect, where here you buy it online or in person and feed it to the machine like a subway (a much, much nicer subway) so the only person bothering you while you're on board is someone asking if you'd like some food or drinks. Lauderdale and Miami are beautifully designed and spotlessly clean. Do you lucky Floridians even realize what you have here? I only took it roundtrip one day and I'm sure there are upgrades, especially for daily commuters, that could improve, but man, this was one, easy, nice experience.įirst, both train stations in Ft.
